O-Town will have its festival premiere at AFRIFF in Lagos on the 9th, at the Palms, Lekki followed by a Q & A with the director C.J. Obasi and on the 12th at Silverbird, VI.

O-Town is an upcoming Nigerian crime gangster film that was written and directed by C.J. Obasi. The film stars Paul Utomi as Peace, a hustler at the center of various issues in the small town of Owerri, Nigeria, also known as O-Town. The film’s music was composed by Beatoven and Wache Pollen and filming took place in Owerri.

Of the film, Obasi has described as a:

“crime-gangster thriller. It’s a semi-autobiographical tale because it draws from some of the crime stories I knew and heard; growing up in a small town called Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. It’s also my exploration into genre Film-making, where I explore basically my love for film.”

If you’re in Lagos, you wouldn’t want  to miss this. Entry is FREE!!! Tell your friends, bring your spouses and loved ones. Let’s support Afrikan Cinema.

See you there 😉
